Developmental programmes to support and empower people old & young to develop themselves and reach their potential.

  • Basic Adult Computing {BAC}.
  • Wholesome Economical Meals {WEM}: Cookery trainings for everyone interested in homemade meals to spend less and save money.
  • Business Reality Muse Adviser {BReMA}: Resource information for those considering self-employment, thinking about career Option, preparing for job interviews.

Health Wellbeing

 

That You May be in Good Health:

 

Promoting health and wellbeing. We signpost residents or people to:

mental health facilities, GP practices, STD clinics, mother and toddler groups. 

Free gym pass where appropriate, domestic violence advice, disability support and services advice, LGBT advice, we also support mothers and fathers of under-5s and their siblings. Signposting to breastfeeding groups and mothers and fathers group meetings {Parenting forum}.

Community Cohesion

We promote well-being and fairness for all. We organise Diversity days, Language classes. Inter-racial and inter-faith initiatives, fair representation by our workers' ethnicity in relation to our clients. Multicultural classes for all. Support for new immigrants and also taking into account the needs of all residents.

 

  • Coffee Mornings. 
  • Hospitality Society: Support for isolated elderly and visiting of the elderlies in care/nursing homes, visiting prisons, hospitals, orphanages. 
  • I AM SPECIAL (IAS): Service that provide support for children with special/educational needs. 
  • Wellbeing of single/young mums: Helping young mothers and those who want to return to work get their fittings back in the society. 

Safer Community

 

Cutting down crime by signposting access to jobs, benefits and education, so empowering residents and promoting social mobility keeping young people off the streets via the youth club and classes concentrating on talents and self- worthwhile and respect for others and their environment.

 

  • Seeking Onward Solution {SOS}: Support with accessing information including childcare, schools, Foodbank, welfare benefit, housing, debt, mental health and consumer advice. Also liaison with statutory agency.
  • Kickin the Stickin for Good {KSG}: Activities and response to preventing knife crimes and violence among our youths.
  • Youth Club: Football, Basketball, Music, English and Maths classes, help with homework etc.
